My name, in case you don’t know it yet, is Wes Waddell and I’m from Colorado Springs, Colorado.  I’ve been involved in my own home business for almost 6 years now and full time on the internet for over 2 years with PrincessCrafts Digital Scrapbooking and Global Domains International.

I worked hard to follow that promise of success that my first sponsor had me dreaming about.  I tried many of the traditional tactics you find employed in most entrepreneurial industries.  This all met with less than ideal results.  I went to the weekly Hype-filled “Morale!” opportunity meetings or listened in on the conference calls.  I contacted old acquaintances and friends who I had not seen or even talked to in years and told them I wanted to “re-connect” over lunch.  I made the list they tell you to make of your 100 closest friends and family members… I even gave away hundreds of dollars worth of samples and promotional materials.  Then, I attended the all too boring company training events. In short, I did everything I had been taught to do by those that I “thought” knew how it was to be done and I worked my hardest at making it happen.  As you probably already know, the end results were a lot less than I had expected.

Like many of you, since what I was doing wasn’t working, I decided I needed to try a new and different approach.

Videos… What Videos?

Online Video use in Multi-level marketing (MLM) and for home business systems training has skyrocketed in 2008 already.  MLM and other simple business training websites have shifted their focus from the “FREE! FREE! FREE!*” (glaringly suspicious asterisk) pitches to friendly true expertise training and information video models.

What you used to find; the typical bombshell headline text usually encountered when you click on a new entrepreneurial or MLM website that was bound up and sealed away in some eBook that you had to then purchased… Instead, now is an automated flash player video that quietly greets you showing a better way to boost boost your business success. Nearly a dozen sites (that I just counted today alone…) now market free videos that introduce human testimonials and products that, in an uncanny way, remind me of youtube home entertainment.

The first training video model always promises to be a free teaching tool, but rarely does it hold up or provide any real usable information… at least not without buying something to add to it.

Fishy business in my opinion. Although the medium has changed from tag lines: “FREE FREE FREE**” to “introduction videos,” Dillard’s aim (like the rest of the home business trainers) functions ultimately to sell a ebook that gets me no where in the marketing world.

With such an experience, you can imagine my skepticism when I tried the new www.SpidersMarketingWeb.com videos.

I wanted to know if this MLM home business model could hold its promise and implement well into my current home business system.

In boosting my home business I tried dozens of training manuals and I spent THOUSANDS of dollars on consultants and training courses and so called… “Proven Turnkey Systems”.  When I was younger, I even went to weekly Hype-filled “Rah!-Rah!” Opportunity Meetings or conference calls, I did as I was told and made a list of my 100 closest friends and family members, I passed out Flyers, I attended boring company training events but never did I come across an actual video training system that could help with any of my efforts.
